Two of our ENT specialists at ACENT are also board-certified facial plastic surgeons. Anchorage residents come to Dr. Ellerbe or Dr. Kallman for cosmetic concerns ranging from drooping eyebrows to prominent ears to sagging necks. Dr. Dwight M. Ellerbe
Dr. Ellerbe is board-certified in Pediatrics, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. He began his career as a pediatrician, then completed a residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, followed by a clinical fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Ellerbe served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel. In addition to his work, his passions include sailing and fishing.
Dr. James E. Kallman
Dr. Kallman is board certified in both Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. A year later he completed a clinical fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of New Mexico.
