Stephen B. Schaffer, MD, FACS

Stephen B. Schaffer, MD, FACSDr. Schaffer is a board-certified otolaryngologist from Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in music education in 1988. He pursued a Master's degree in choral music at Arizona State University, subsequently attending medical school at the University of Arizona. He graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Schaffer completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to relocating to Alaska and joining ACENT in Anchorage, he ran a busy private practice in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Schaffer welcomes pediatric and adult patients with all types of ear, nose, and throat conditions, and has a particular interest in sinus, thyroid, and voice disorders.
