Our in office procedures as well as cosmetic facial and nasal surgeries are complimented with a skin evaluation prior to procedure date. Our goal is to get your skin prepared and in the best possible condition prior to surgery to promote the possibility of the very best outcome.
Facial Aging Procedures
Browlift & Endoscopic Browlift: Performed on an outpatient basis, and utilized to reduce unsightly sagging forehead or eyebrows that hang too close to the eyes, a Browlift or Endoscopic Browlift utilizes several short incisions along the hairline. Our Board Certified Physicians will utilize and endoscope to reduce deep furrowed lines to lift and reposition the forehead.
Blepharoplasty: For a fresh and youthful appearance, an eyelid lift utilizes tiny incisions in the natural crease of the eye to remove excess fat and skin. For a significant reduction in wrinkled or saggy upper eyelid skin or puffy pouches of fat in the lower lids, an eyelid lift or Blepharoplasty will give effective results.
Facelift: This procedure is conducted off site in an outpatient surgery center of your choice. Utilizing incisions along the hairline or above and around the ears, a facelift can beat mother nature at her own game, and ranges in size from “mini” to “standard.” For a restored facial appearance with a tight and youthful contour, a facelift will tighten the neck muscles and remove excess facial skin. We often inform patients that down time for this procedure is 2 to 3 weeks until you feel confident to schedule events or appear in a public setting.
Necklift: A small incision under the chin will reduce sagging skin under your chin or localized fat deposits through removal of excess fat and tightening of the muscles. Some necklifts may include the removal of a small amount of skin.
Other Considerations
Chin and Cheek Implants: To address concerns of a recessed chin or to improve definition in the cheekbone area, a small implant can be introduced to contour and sculpt these areas. This in office procedure offers very little down time for the patient, with lasting and desirable results.
Nose Surgeries: We offer a large array of surgical options of concerns of the nasal area including nose bridge bumps, crooked nose, nasal breathing obstructions, nose bridge scoop and bulbous nose.
Prominent Ear Surgery: Patients can be treated with cosmetic ear surgery, also known as Otoplasty, or Set-Back Otoplasty. Cosmetic ear reshaping surgery addresses the specific areas of cartilage overgrowth, or over-development of cartilage that lead to the appearance of cupped shaped ears, outstanding ears (also known as Dumbo ears) and other ear disproportions. These procedures are performed under local anesthesia and as an outpatient and generally there is very little discomfort during recovery, although the ear reshaping should be protected with an aesthetically pleasing headband, worn for several weeks after the procedure.
Skin Concerns: Many facial concerns can be addressed utilizing an array of in office procedures. Concerns with scarring, facial skin cancer, lesion and mole removal are concerns that are handled best by a thorough evaluation, diagnostic testing if necessary, and followed by treatments that are clinically safe and customized to the patient’s condition, skin type and desired outcome.
Double Chin: At ACENT we offer cervical liposuction to address concerns with excess fatty tissue in the chin. Down time is minimal, with marked results.
