Stephen B. Schaffer, MD, FACS

StephenDr. Schaffer is a board certified otolaryngologist who hails from Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in music education in 1988. He pursued a Masters degree in choral music at Arizona State University and subsequently attended medical school at the University of Arizona, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to relocating to Alaska, he ran a busy private practice in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Schaffer welcomes pediatric and adult patients with all types of ear, nose, and throat conditions, and has a particular interest in sinus, thyroid, and voice disorders.
